Salem Rabley is a writer and director based in New York City and a senior in the Film & Television program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. With a focus on writing, directing, and art direction, she is drawn to stories that are often overlooked, bringing them to life through an honest, visually driven approach.
Her work explores the complexity of human relationships with an emphasis on authenticity and emotional truth. Honesty drives her passion as a filmmaker.
At NYU, Salem wrote and directed three short films of note: Mrs. Morgan, IT'S FINE and Walk Me Down, which was created through a collaboration between NYU and FAMU in Prague.
